Python
Python, a dynamic and versatile programming language, has a rich history that began in the late 1980s. Guido van Rossum, a Dutch programmer, initiated the development of Python in December 1989 at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) in the Netherlands.
The name "Python" was inspired by the British comedy series "Monty Python's Flying Circus," reflecting van Rossum's fondness for the show.
The first release of Python (Version 0.9.0) was made available in February 1991. The language gained traction in the early 2000s, propelled by its simplicity, readability, and extensive standard library.
Python's adoption surged in the 2010s, driven by its suitability for web development, data analysis, artificial intelligence, and scientific computing
The Beauty of Python was best expressed by Tim Peters in a poem hidden in the Python Ecosystem by Barry Warsaw. You can read the poem by running the the command "import this" on the Python console.
